Modular Protection® Corporation (MPC), headquartered in Kansas City, is a leader in Energized Electrical Fire Containment Technologies.
MPC has been providing special hazard fire suppression systems since 1967. With thousands of critical hazard operations currently protected, MPC provides clients with the most user-friendly product available.
The MODULAR self-contained device was patented in 1988 and has become a standard in telecommunication hazards worldwide.
MPC is organized into two operating divisions to meet client needs:
Modular Protection® Corporation Systems manufactures a complete line of standardized fire suppression equipment and systems to limit asset damage and downtime while minimizing installation time and cost.
Modular Protection® Services provides technical support for our communication clients including hazard analysis, engineering, operational training, inspection and maintenance. Modular Protection electronic fire test lab is currently evaluating various Clean Extinguishing Agents for exposure to energized electrical ignition as published in Appendix A of the NFPA 2001 Standard, 2004 Edition.
Our Engineering staff currently serves on the NFPA 76 Committee for Telecommunication Fire Protection. We provide precise fire containment and response solutions.
About the Video
TESTING ON CONTINUOUSLY ENERGIZED FIRE
Phase 1 Overheating
Phase 2 Material Ignites
Phase 3 Suppression Agent is Introduced
Phase 4 If proper agent quantity is not used on continuously energized fire, Re-ignition results.
With greater design concentration, this fire was extinguished.
